Does it hurt?
No. Numbing drops are applied before the procedure, so you won’t feel pain — most patients describe only mild pressure for a few seconds. The treatment itself takes about 10–15 minutes for both eyes. Some patients feel mild scratchiness for a few hours afterward, easily managed with the drops we provide.
How soon will I see clearly?
For LASIK and EVO ICL, most patients have functional vision the very next day and return to work within 24–48 hours. SMILE typically takes 3–4 days, and PRK takes 1–2 weeks for vision to fully sharpen. Your surgeon will set clear expectations for the specific procedure that’s right for you.
Am I a candidate?
Most adults with stable vision and healthy eyes are candidates for at least one procedure — even if you’ve been told you’re not a fit for traditional LASIK. That’s exactly what your consultation determines. We map your eyes and review your prescription, corneal thickness, and health to recommend the safest, most effective option for you.
What does it cost — and can I finance it?
LASIK is $1,600 per eye for standard treatment with the Wavelight laser, or $1,950 per eye for all-laser treatment using the Visumax and Wavelight lasers — both including all pre- and post-operative care. Financing starts at around $146/month, about $5 a day, through CareCredit or Alphaeon Credit, and we accept HSA and FSA dollars. Your exact quote depends on your prescription and is confirmed at your consultation.
